A Trip to Puerto Vallarta
I spent the week at a resort in Puerto Vallarta and I must say, it was relaxing! I'll soon be doing a review of the resort that I stayed at, so stay tuned! For those of you who have never been down to Mexico, or Puerto Vallarta, it is a city located on the west coast of Mexico, best known for its resorts.
You can walk along the beach into the heart of the city, where you'll find a beautiful boulevard lined with statues and artwork.
I found the city so charming, and everyone was so friendly. When you spend a vacation at a resort, it can be hard to truly feel like you are away in another city/country. So I loved walking into Puerto Vallarta city and experiencing the culture. Unfortunately, I was so focused on enjoying the moment that I didn't even think to take photos!! So I apologize for the lack of city photography.
But trust me when I say that there are tons of streets vendors selling tacos, meat skewers and other goodies. The architecture is truly something to see as the buildings are all different and posses their own character.
I came home from my trip and boasted to my parents about how fantastic the city was! If you have vacation days, and are trying to find a place to visit, you should really consider staying in Puerto Vallarta. There's a plethora of resorts to choose from, but I'd say choose one that is within walking distance to the core of the city. :)
