I think that even for the happiest of people, those that seem to have it all, there can be times that they feel like they are drowning.
Sometimes, I feel extremely overwhelmed by the pressures around me. The pressures of work, family, and life in general. It feels as though I'm doing just enough to keep my head above water.
It's hard to know exactly what to do to get out of these ruts, but over the years I have found ways to stay afloat.
1. When things get overwhelming, I remind myself of all the positive aspects of my life. This helps me to put things into perspective.
2. I take a break. It is so important to take a step back and take time to relax and reset.
3. I make a list of the things I want to accomplish. Having short term and long term goals is great. Getting organized really helps me gain some clarity.
What helps you stay afloat? What do you do when you feel overwhelmed?
