Wedding season is here and as a guest, that means finding the perfect outfit. I often find it hard to decide on what to wear for weddings. There are so many factors to think about, like the weather, where the ceremony is being held, how fancy of an affair it will be, etc. etc.
This particular attire was for a close friend's wedding. The ceremony was held outside during midday and we later moved into a reception hall to continue the festivities. I felt that this mid-length skirt, paired with a sleeveless lace top, worked perfectly. It was comfortable and allowed for easy movement. It also didn't wrinkle, which was ideal for a wedding where you are constantly sitting and standing!
When picking attire for a wedding, it is important that you look good, but are also comfortable. Remember, you will be spending a lot of time sitting, standing, walking, and dancing (I hope!).
Take into account the time of day. Will the wedding go from daytime until evening? A shawl or wrap may be good to bring along in case it gets cooler. Is it being held on a beach? Maybe those stiletto heels won't work so well in the sand. Flats or a thicker heel could be the way to go. Ask yourself as many questions as you can to ensure that you are dressed right!
